制振工学研究会は、制振技術の発展と企業の技術者の育成を目的に，制振技術全般に関する試験・研究や技術成果の発表，技術者相互の情報交換の場の提供を目的に分科会，委員会，技術発表会，講習会、見学会の開催と各種出版物の発行を行っています.

Society of Damping Technology (SDT) has been working for development of damping technology and for the training of researchers and engineers of the damping engineering.　SDT activities include research of damping performance and testing of damping characteristics and technological achievements of the announcement about the damping technology in general, and it is engineer mutual exchange of information.　SDT members can also participate committee,　subcommittee, the working　group in SDT. SDT has been holding the technology meeting, workshops, and study tours.　 In addition, SDT is doing the issuance of various research papers and publications of damping technology.
